User Interface
Our solution begins and ends with any computer with Web access. If you don't have your own PC, then any computer in your company can be used to see the temperature profile that is currently set for you, to change the settings for any period, and to graphically see how successful we have been to give you what you have asked for.

The User Interface is as big, easy, and interactive – a web page on any computer screen, like our sample My Thermostat user pages. Easily change desired temperatures, and see how well we deliver with large graphics tracking your office temperature through the day.

Sensor
Every office or area of a larger workspace that desires temperature control, will have a Sensor installed.

Actuator
Each air register has its own Actuator to regulate the flow of flow of air into a room, so that each room gets the desired airflow but no more.

Master Controller
Master Controllers will be installed where needed to read the Sensors and to control the Actuators. Master Controllers have ethernet (10Base-T) and dial-up connections(*) to receive User changes to desired setpoints, and to send temperature data to be displayed over the Web.

Master Controllers connect to virtually all legacy HVAC equipment, including Air Handlers, VAVs, Humidifiers/Dehumidifiers, Fans, etc. Master Controllers have additional sensor connections to monitor legacy HVAC equipment (e.g., temperature gradients across Air Handlers). We do this both to provide a great monitoring service that could be valuable to Facilities groups, and also to avoid both the possibility and even the perception that we might cause any damage to any other equipment. We can show anyone at any/all times that our equipment does/did no damage, and thereby keep interactions with our Customers very positive.

In addition to Temperature, we also provide individuals Fresh Air control and Humidity control, and we extend all controls from individual desktops to Centralized Monitoring & Control for corporate Facilities groups. For the first time Facilities can monitor temperatures, humidity and airflow throughout all buildings anywhere in the world. For no additional cost Ols Controls additionally monitors legacy HVAC equipment and reports in real-time many conditions that Facilities groups never before could monitor, and optionally generates automated email alerts if parameters exceed desired ranges on your older equipment, and can even automatically shut down systems at user defined conditions.
